Qasil for Hair

Qasil has many purposes and is a great source of nutrients for hair. Qasil can be used in many different ways, either as a hair rinse, shampoo, hair mask and can be mixed with a variety of ingredients to transform your hair back to life.

Qasil as a Shampoo

Qasil is an amazing alternative if you decide to either go no-poo or cut back on the amount you shampoo your hair. Qasil is the most natural and gentle shampoo out there today. Not only will it deeply cleanse your scalp to remove any built up dirt and oils effectively, it will also help to promote hair growth for thick, shiny hair.

Fun fact; before commercials shampoos came into the market, people relied on nature for their beauty essential. Due to its powerful cleansing properties, our ancestors in East Africa and Middle East used Qasil to wash their hair. Qasil has been used as a hair cleanser, way before commercial shampoos came into the market. Today, many store-bought shampoos have harsh ingredients such as sulfate, synthetic fragrances that strip away all your hair natural oils, which causes dryness, irritation and in some cases, allergic reactions. If you are looking to move away from commercial shampoos or give your hair break now and then, read below the benefits of Qasil Powder.

Benefits of Qasil for Hair

1. Scalp Care - Qasil helps to nourish and soothe dry, itchy scalp. Qasil reduces an itchy, dry scalp by essentially destroying the bacteria that clogs the hair follicle.

2. Deeply Cleansing - Qasil contains anti-fungal and antibacterial properties which is effective in removing sebum and dirt without over-drying the scalp. These properties also help to keep the hair cleaner for longer, which allows you to go longer between washes.

3. Get's rid of dandruff - Qasil also helps to remove dandruff. It absorbs excess oil and sebum which treats and prevents the formation of dandruff.

4. Promotes Hair Growth - Qasil will help to boost hair growth and maintain healthy scalp. When you are using Qasil as a shampoo, it helps to remove dead skin cells from your scalp and cleanses hair follicles that, in turn, boost hair growth. Your hair will feel thicker and healthier after using Qasil.

5. Adds Shine and Moisture - Qasil will help you maintain healthy and shiny hair. As Qasil is grown in a tropical climate, it produces a plant wax to maintain moisture within the leaves. This wax-like coating acts to smooth and moisturise the hair, as well as protect it from environmental damages.

How to make Qasil Shampoo?

Making a DIY Qasil shampoo is super simple, here I'm sharing my favourite 2 recipes that you can make at home in less than 2 minuets.

DIY Recipe 1

Ingredient:

- 1tablespoon of Qasil Powder

- 1 cup of warm water

You can add more powder or water depending on how thick you like your mixture. The purpose of using warm water in your Qasil mixture is because it will help to activate the mixture and it will double in size. This means a little Qasil Powder can go a long way. When mixing the ingredients together, you would need to mix the Qasil Powder in gradually to create a smooth mixture. This recipe extremely simple to make and is just as effective as regular shampoos.

DIY Recipe 2

- 1 tablespoon of Qasil Powder

- 1/2 cup of warm water

- 1/2 of apple cider vinegar

If you need an extra deep cleansing treatment for your hair, you could add apple cider vinegar to the mixture. Apple cider vinegar will help balance out the acidity in your hair, leading to better shine and overall health.

How does Qasil work as a Shampoo?

Qasil contains a cleansing agent called soapin, so when it's in contact with water, it forms a natural soap lather. It's a powerful cleansing powder that will deeply cleanse the scalp, removing any dirt and excess oil, and also improve the overall condition of the hair. It also contains great slip, which is an amazing for detangling. You can use Qasil in place of your daily shampoo and conditioner. When applying the mixture to the hair, make sure you also massaging you scalp to ensure that the product has had a chance to thoroughly penetrate your hair to provide maximum benefits.
